Adventures: Now Open for Business — Summit Squad #18
Some quality-of-life updates, along with a whole mess of articles you might have missed. Here's the round-up:
Quite a bit has happened since the last update. Most notably, I’ve made a quality-of-life change for readers who signed up specifically for outdoor news, and don’t care so much about trip reports and essays (and vice versa.)
The mag now has its own dedicated section called Adventures which you can opt out of. To do this, simply click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen while visiting Quandary Magazine. From the drop down menu, select “manage subscriptions.”
On the next page, you’ll see a series of tick-boxes that let you opt out of certain groups of content. This lets you curate the kinds of updates you’re actually interested in.
Call for Submissions
The adventure section isn’t just my stories. I want to share experiences from other members of the community. The first is actually from fellow writer
, who discussed his decades-long quest to visit a legendary local landmark in the Catskill Mountains. If you have a story you’d like me to publish, please reach out to me at Cole@quandarymagazine.com.
As mentioned above, videos and photo essays are more than welcome, though Quandary Magazine ultimately reserves the right to decide what does and does not meet our standards for publication.
